The entrance to the North East India, Assam, is filled with hidden beauties and untouched nature. The biodiversity of the land comes from the wild lush forests, which are veined by mighty rivers. Itinerary
Day 01, GUWAHATI:
Today on arrival at Guwahati Airport, our representative will assist you to the hotel/resort. After reaching complete check-in formalities & overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 02, GUWAHATI -KAZIRANGA:
Today morning after breakfast drive straight to Kaziranga National Park a place where jungle friends like One-horned rhinoceros, royal Bengal tiger, Deer, Pygmy Hog, Wild Buffalos & lots of migratory birds along with a variety of Kingfisher resides – an afternoon/evening ride offers you a lot of wild animals site seeing. It's around 230 km from Guwahati Airport. After reaching check into hotel/resort. Evening Visit Orchid park at Kaziranga which compiles 700 types of orchids, 200 types of rice display, 25 types of the tulsi plant, 101 types of herbs gardening, variety of local food & juice counter, round the clock local folk dance & lot more. After completion relaxes in hotel/resort & overnight stay at hotel/resort.
Day 03, KAZIRANGA - DIRANG:
Today early morning around 6.30 am move for the safari in the jungle by Jeep. After completion go back to the hotel. After breakfast check out & drive to Bhalukpong (border between Assam-Arunachal, entry formalities in Police checkpoint), enjoy the beautiful waterfalls, landscapes, Temple. Dirang is situated at an altitude of 4900 ft from the sea level. It's around 226 km from Kaziranga. The journey is along a very scenic road traversing forested hills and crossing over the Nichephu pass to the Tenga valley. After reaching visit Monastery, Dirang dzong. After completion of, check-into hotel/ resort. Evening relax in hotel/resort, overnight stay at hotel/resort in Dirang Day
04, DIRRANG - TAWANG:
Morning after breakfast check out & drive to Tawang. On the way stop at Sela Pass (13700ft-4150m), Jaswanth Garh (war memorial of Indochina war- 1962), Nuranang waterfalls and Beautiful landscape. En-route visit an Alpine lake Sela pass temple and opportunities at every turn and visit the mind hogging the road. Overnight stay at hotel/resort in Tawang.
Day 05, TAWANG:
Morning after breakfast sightseeing in and around Tawang. Visit War Memorial, Craft Centre, and finally the four-hundred-year-old Tawang Monastery - the second largest Buddhist monastery in the world. The Craft Centre produces some beautiful woolen carpets. After sightseeing come back to hotel/resort & overnight stay in Tawang
Day 06, TAWANG- ZEMITAHANG - TAWANG:
Today after breakfast visit to a place called Zimithang. Zimithang is a beautiful hilly area situated around 100 kilometers away from Tawang. Zemithang is in the extreme end of Tawang district, in the boarder of China and Bhutan. As the road snakes uphill watch for ‘black-necked crane’ a rare verity of bird found in this region. There is a Buddha stupa also knowned as Gorchem Chorten, which is around 100 feet height and the largest stupa in that area. After visiting that stupa, return to Tawang. On the return route, stop at Tara Devi temple in Lum La. After completion back to Tawang. Over night stay at Tawang.
Day 07, TAWANG - BOMDILA:
Morning after breakfast check out & drive to Bomdila approximately 180km drive from Tawang. With snow-clad Himalayan mountain ranges and lush greenery to flaunt its natural beauty. Bomdila is situated around 8000ft above sea level. On the way to Bomdila, one can witness the beautiful Dirang Valley. If time permits visit Bomdila Monastery, Bomdila View Point, Upper Gompa, Lower Gumpa, Middle Gompa. Check-in to hotel/ resort and overnight stay at Bomdila Day
08, BOMDILA - GUWAHATI:
Morning after breakfast check out & drive to Guwahati approximately 340km from Bomdila. After reaching Guwahati Check into hotel/ resort and overnight stay.
Day 09, DEPARTURE FROM GUWAHATI:
Today morning after breakfast visit Maa Kamakhya Temple. The temple which is located on Nilachal Hill, Guwahati. It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shikti Pithas. After completion drive to Guwahati Airport for forward journey with beautiful memories of North East India. END OF SERVICE.
