Itinerary
Day 01: ARRIVE DELHI
Arrival at the Delhi Airport and go for Lunch . After that half day sightseeing .We Shall Visit Qutub Minar . Over Night stay at hotel. Qutub Minar, is the second tallest minaret in the world made up of bricks. The minaret forms a part of the Qutub Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the Mehrauli area of Delhi India, Qutub Minar is a 73-metre (239.5 feet) tall tapering tower of five storeys, with a 14.3 metres (47 feet) base diameter, reducing to 2.7 metres (9 feet) at the top of the peak.It contains a spiral staircase of 379 steps. is design is thought to have been based on the minaret of Jam in western.
Day 02: ARRIVE DELHI – SRINAGAR DOMESTIC FLIGHTS
After early breakfast transfer to domestic airport to board on your scheduled flight to Srinagar - located in the heart of the Kashmir valley at an altitude of 1,730 m above sea level, spread on both sides of the river Jhelum. The Dal and Nagin lakes enhance its picturesque setting, while the changing play of the seasons and the salubrious climate ensures that the city is equally attractive to visitors around the year. On arrival, transfer to anchored Deluxe Houseboat.
Day 03: GULMARG EXCURSION 125 km Excursion
After breakfast at Houseboat, depart by surface to Gulmarg - one of the most beautiful summer resorts in Kashmir valley. It is also well known for its golf course during summer season and ski resort during the winter season. Enjoy the splendour of nature and the snowy mountains. Enjoy Gondola ride (Cable car) from Gulmarg to Kungdoor. Afternoon return back to Srinagar and take a stroll to witness the way of life in the alleys and small streets of Srinagar town. Day 04: SRINAGAR - Local Sightseeing
Visit to famous Mughal Gardens, Cheshma ShahiRoyal Spring, NishatGarden of Pleasure, Shalimar Abode of Love Mughal laid Out in the 16th century & these fall along the bank of Dal-Lake in the heart of Srinagar . We come back to the houseboat for Lunch . in the evening time shall go for Sikara Ride . Enroute visiting handloom centre famous for production of Pashmina/Shahtoos shawls & world over reckoned Carpets, evening return back to Hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 05 : SRINAGAR- DELHI – AGRA 222 Km, around 4 hours drive
After Breakfast , we proceed to the Srinagar airport to take flight to the Delhi . Once Arrival at Delhi Airport we proceed to Agra. Stop for lunch on the way and carry on with the road journey to reach Agra. In the 16th and 17th century Agra was the capital of India. Most of its monuments and forts are constructed in that era. On arrival, transfer to Hotel for check in. Evening at leisure.
Day 06 : AGRA - Jaipur 235 Km , 5 Hours Drive
In the morning, visit one of the 7 wonder of the World, Taj Mahal, the beautiful white marble architecture was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, died during the birth of their 14th child. Visit Agra Fort, the crescent shaped fort was commissioned and construction with deep moats surrounding the outer 2.4 km wall facing the river and provide good view of Taj Mahal. The fort was built by Great Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. On completion visit shops with craftsman working on marble inlay and carpet weaving.
We shall Have Lunch in Agra . After Lunch we proceed to Jaipur ,.and start with the drive to Jaipur, 235 Km/over 5 hours drive, en route visiting the world heritage monument of Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory), built during the second half of the 16th century by the Emperor Akbar, it was the capital of the Mughal Empire for 10 years. The attractions in FatehpurSikri are Jama Masjid - a beautiful building containing elements of persian and Hindu Design, The main entrance is through the 54 m high BulandDarwaza, the Gate of Victory, constructed to commemorate Akbar 's victory in Gujarat. BirbalBhavan, built either by or for Raja Birbal, Akbar's favourite courtier, this small palace is extremely elegant in its design and execution. HiranMinar (Deer Minaret) is said to have been erected over the grave of Akbar's favourite elephant. Panch Mahal - This amusing little five-storey palace was probably once used by the ladies of the Court and originally had stone screens on the sides. The lower floor has 56 columns, no two of which are exactly alike. Further drive to Jaipur and check in to your hotel.
Day 07 : JAIPUR City Exploration
A day to explore the ‘Pink city of Rajasthan’. Drive to Hawa Mahal for photo stop & then driver to Amber Fort & ride on Elephant to the entrance gate of the classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace. Visit Jag Mandir or the Hall of Victory and famed Sheesh Mahal - a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, specially imported from Belgium. After lunch we start city tour visiting Maharaja's City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. Built in the style of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh in area of the city. One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armoury Museum housing an impressive array of weaponry-pistols, blunderbusses, flintlocks, swords, rifles and daggers. The royal families of Jaipur once used most of these weapons. Just outside the Palace we visit JantarMantar - the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. This observatory has 17 large instruments and most are still in working condition. Rest of the time at leisure at Jaipur.
Day 08 : JAIPUR – DELHI 265 km, 5 hours
After breakfast start with drive to Delhi. We shall have lunch at Delhi then we proceed to Akshardham Temple. Overnight stay at hotel. This temple is one of the second biggest Hindu temple in the world. Inaugurated it on 2005 by former prime minister Dr. Man Mohan Singh, Former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam & BAPS Chairman Pramukh Swami Maharaj. After get dark Stark Musical Water show.
Day 09 :- Delhi – Fly Back Home
After Breakfast we go to explore Delhi . First of all we go to Qutub Minar . then Lotus Temple, Temple of Bahai Faith .one of the youngest religion of the world. After lunch free and easy . we may go for shopping as well . in the evening time proceed to airport to go back sweet home
