Varanasi was officially so revived after 1947, but the city is still widely known as Banaras. Varanasi is one of the world's oldest continually inhabited cities. Kashi, its
ancient name, was associated with a kingdom of the same name of 2,500 years ago. The Buddha is recorded in the Pali canon to have given his first sermon, "The Setting in Motion of the Wheel of Dharma", at nearby Sarnath in 528 BCE. In the 8th century, Adi Shankara established the worship of Shiva as an official sect of Varanasi. During the Muslim rule during the Middle Ages, the city became an important centre of Hindu devotion, pilgrimage, mysticism and poetry contributing to its cultural importance. Tulsidas wrote his Awadhi language epic, the Ramcharitmanas, a Bhakti movement reworking of the Sanskrit Ramayana, in Varanasi. Several other major figures of the Bhakti movement were born in Varanasi, including Kabir and Ravidas. In the 16th century, the Mughal emperor Akbar built two large temples dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu in the city. Under the Treaty of Faizabad.

Itinerary
Day 01 :- Arrival Delhi
Arrival at the Delhi airport and you will welcome by our tour guide. if we have time to have dinner l then we shall
bring you to restaurant for dinner . transfer to the hotel
Day 02 :- Delhi Sightseeing
After Breakfast We start our sightseeing from Birla Temple The temple is dedicated to Laxmi (the goddess of prosperity) and Narayana (The preserver). The temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi on the condition that people of all castes will be allowed to enter the temple. After that we shall visit India gate . It is prominent landmark of Delhi, which is commemorates those 90000 British Indian soldiers who passed away during first world war and third Anglo afghan war. Visit president house north block and south block which are ministry offices and parliament house .After lunch we drive to visit Akshardham Temple and shop around Delhi. Day 03 :- Delhi- Varanasi
After breakfast we shall proceed to airport to take flight to Varanasi . Once we arrive at the Varanasi airport we shall take our vehicle and go to check in the hotel . Later on we go to have lunch in restaurant . while having lunch we shall meet our priest and discuss about tomorrow pinda danam pooja . Evening time we proceed to Ganga Ghat to watch evening Aarti. This Ganga Aarti starts after getting dark. Everyday thousands of people gather to watch this Aarti. The aarti is always carried out facing the River Ganga. A lot of lamps are lit during the aarti. They are usually circled out by priests. It is always done clockwise. The aarti is always accompanied by different
songs sung while praising the Ganga. It is believed that the lamps acquire the power of the deity. After the aarti, devotees are supposed to cup their hands on the lamps over the flames and touch their foreheads. This is done in order to receive gratification and purification from the Goddess Ganga.
Overnight stay at Hotel
Day 04 :- Varanasi
Early morning we shall go to Ganga river and we ride boat cross the river then we shall take ritual bath . if someone want to shave their hair , can do it here . after that we shall go for long Pinda Danam Prayer , which will take at least 4 hours.once finish our pooja we shall go to have lunch . after luncxh we visit some world famous
temple such as Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Annapurna temple, Vishalakshi Temple and Kaal Viarava Temple. Without visiting the kaal vairava temple, the kashi yatra will not be completed On completion our today's activity we shall go back to hotel ands and have dinner.
Day 05 :- Varanasi Ayodhya- Varanasi 219KM one side
Today we start our journey early in the morning because we need to take long drive . almost 5 hours drive on side so we shall our journey around 5am. We shal reach at Ayodhya The Birth place of Lord Rama around 10 am . Visit Birth Place of the Lord Rama and some others temples as well. Around 1pm We shall move back to Varanasi .
Day 06 :- Varanasi- Prayagraj -Varanasi 120KM one side
We shall take breakfast after that we proceed to Prayagraj which is almost 2 and half hours drive . once reach there we shall take small boat to go to the island which is surrounding by the 3 rivers water. We spend sometime over there. We will take lunch in Prayagraj City. On completion we shall drive back to Varanasi and stay at hotel.
Day 07 :- Varanasi- Delhi- Agra 210Km Drive
After Breakfast we shall check out the hotel. We shall go to airport to take flight. Once we reach at Delhi airport We take another vehicle to go to Agra. If there's Sufficient time to visit Mathura then we shall go there otherwise we shall visit Mathura next day while coming back to Delhi . check in the hotel in Agra.
Day 08 :- Agra- Delhi 210 Km Drive
Early morning, visit one of the 7 wonder of the World, Taj Mahal, the beautiful white marble architecture was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, died during the birth of their 14th child. Visit Agra Fort, the crescent shaped fort was commissioned and construction with deep moats
surrounding the outer 2.4 km wall facing the river and provide good view of Taj Mahal. The fort was built by Great Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. On completion visit shops with craftsman working on marble inlay and carpet weaving. After lunch we drive back to delhi . on the way visit Mathura 9 The Birth place of Lord Krishna)
Day 09 :- :- Delhi Fly Home
Today is leisure time for you so you can go for shopping in Delhi. There are several markets in Delhi Such as Sarojini Nagar Market Lajpat Nagar Market Karol Bagh Market . these markets are known as central market .We shall proceed to airport according your flight time. Our tour terminates here.
